Richard Marinaccio was the 2009 USA champion, and finished 3rd place in the world at the 2009 World Championship. He had no prior competitive Monopoly experience before the 2009 US Championship.

His favorite token is the thimble because he used it in the final game of the United States MONOPOLY Championship. The best deal he has ever brokered was buying his first house. Richard's tip for other MONOPOLY players is to be flexible to get better deals, and to find the weakest player."
