For 2015, the Republic of Ireland combined with the UK in a series of regionals to determine who will represent England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland at the 2015 World Championship in September in Macau. Natalie Fitzsimons was the winner. Go to the 2015 UK & Ireland Championship page to see the details of this competition.

In 2009, a championship was tentatively planned for Ireland, but it did not end up happening, so Ireland did not participate in the 2009 World Championships.

In August 2004, Anthony Redmond was the Ireland champion, beating Edkundayo Badmus (2nd Place), Donovan Byng, and Jonathan Moloney in the Finals. It was held at the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in Dublin.[1]

Edkundayo Badmus was the 2003(1999?) Ireland champion[2], and Anthony Redmond had also previously won the Ireland Championship in 1995. Anthony was also an Ireland finalist in 1988 and in 1992, he beat two brothers in the final round.
